SCIndeks Assistant is a system for online management of journal editing and reviewing, based on Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, upgraded by CEON/CEES. Supports all activities of editorial management, from creation of a journal page, through manuscript submission, implementation and monitoring of the peer review process, administration and record keeping to making final editorial decisions.
It enables the integration of papers of articles in the Cross-referencing system (CrossRef/DOI), as well as prevention of plagiarism (CrossCheck). Also includes some exclusive automated functions intended for quality control: formatting references in accordance with the selected citation style (RefFormatter), detecting inconsistencies between citations in the full texts and the lists of references (CiteMatcher), alerting authors to the presence of illegitimate references in the manuscript (Mind the Trap) and evaluating reviewers as a basis for their selection and reward (Reviewing Reviewers).
